Single Espresso
An espresso is a demitasse (about 1/4 of a normal cup) of extremely strong tasting coffee. It is made with a dark roasted bean, using either a stove top espresso maker or an electric machine. It serves as the basis for many gourmet coffe drinks, both hot and cold and has numerous variations of its own. Add almond, rum,, brandy, mint, or vanilla extract to taste, if desired. You can also sprinkle spices such as ground cinnamon and cardamon onto your espresso.

Double Espresso
Use twice the amount of water and coffee ground as you would for a single espresso.
